He completed his internal medicine residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, his anesthesia residency at Thomas Jefferson University, and his pain management fellowship at Jefferson Pain Center.
Dr. Sasso is presently the Chairman of Anesthesia and Director of Pain Management Services at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health. He has also served as a member of various committees at Abington Hospital and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Sasso has also participated in numerous medical research projects and is a member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists.
Over his career, Dr. Sasso has employed a multimodal and empathetic approach to managing his patients' pain. Outside of the office, he enjoys time with his family, cooking, and, when time allows, an occasional round of golf or tennis.
